We've been working and working and working on it...and it's looking pretty awesome if you ask me.
So in order to keep things altogether, so clients can have just one place to go to keep up with us we are consolidating the blog into one!
I'll be doing most of the blogging. So it won't be much different from here...just a different URL address! :)

There are still some changes in the works...for the blog...and maybe even different colors or a logo...but I'll be sure to let everyone know ahead of time so you can be looking for it! Anywho...from now on just head on over to

We all wanna be ROCKstars...

I mean...I do anyway! As I mentioned before, I LOVE people with style. Not the annoying...or boring...style you see every day kind... But the unique, trendy, edgy type of style that's hard to come by. I pretty much fit right into the boring every day kind of style category...so I often live vicariously through other people WITH style by taking pictures of them! It's entirely too much fun for me. If I had it my way, these two would have changed into every single outfit that they brought (which was quite a few more) and we would have stayed out all day and went to every place we have ever taken pictures before...but...as exhausting as it is to take pictures--and model...we opted for saving the outfits for another photo shoot later on. Aaron works with Brittany--> http://www.brittanystrebeck.com/ at Starbucks and awesome as Brittany is, she sent him Aric's way when she found out they were both looking for new roommates. What a blessing! Well...get ready for an insanely cute couple with awesome rockstar styles...and lots of "FLARE!!" (wink) : ) I'm sure you'll be seeing more of these two soon!

Rockstars...

Well the weekend was great fun, full of awesome pictures, and even more awesome models! Aric finally found a new roommate to live at his house for next year!! So we had a little double date last week and cooked some chicken with him and his girlfriend. The second they walked in the door, I had made up my mind, that somehow, some way...we were gonna get them to let us take pictures of them! They are total rockstars! With an awesome style-and I LOVE style when it comes to pictures! So after our Bridal on Saturday (which was awesome by the way-Katy looked absolutely stunning and her dress was insanely gorgeous!-can't wait to share some of the pictures with you...in about 2 months...) Aric got in touch with Aaron & we decided to meet for pictures yesterday! They turned out to be even more awesome than I had hoped! So here's a teaser for now! I've got TONS more that I love...

(and I have a serious fascination with sunflare's...so you'll be seeing a lot of those...)

Another First...

Sorry for the slow blogging... I've been working full time, and Summer school started this week, so adding the two together leaves me exhausted at the end of the day, and all I wanna do is be LAZY! But I'm trying to make that better so...we'll see how that goes...
Anyway! We've got a great weekend planned and hope to get LOTS of work done, so hopefully you can see some results of that next week!

I get to shoot my Very First Bridal session tomorrow!!! YAY!!! I'm so so excited! And we are so lucky to have Katy as our bride because she's just gorgeous! So...it's kind of anti-climatic for you guys (my make-believe blog-stalking audience-besides my family ;) since I can't post the pictures until AFTER thier wedding in July...but still. I'm excited!! Aric's already a pro at this since he got to take some bridals of my beautiful sister around this time last year... But it will still be a first for shooting one Together... :)
Should be fun...I'll let you all know how everything goes...

And we are in the process of combining our blogs & updating the website--cross your fingers that we can get to work this weekend and get that DONE!

HOME sweet Home...

Sort of anyway.
Home is where my family is...so Home these days is in Fort Worth, Frisco, Denton... I can't even remember the names of all the towns...Usually I just say Dallas- It pretty much sums it up... :)

Anyway, Finally getting a long weekend to go home and visit with the family!! I'm SOOOO excited! & I know you guys can't wait to see us...so until we get there...here's a typical picture of Aric & I... :)

"This is really happening..."

I think she said it about a million times throughout the day...and afterward it was "We're really married!" But I don't think she was the only one thinking that. This wedding was almost as important to me as it was to Bridgette & Brad. I was so thankful that Bridgette asked us to shoot her wedding, she was so easy going, and ready to do anything we asked her, which made our job a million times easier. Plus, having my first wedding be for one of my close friends in some ways relieved a bit of pressure.
The day flew by...but as the saying goes..."Time flies when you're havin' fun!" And it was so so much fun. I enjoyed EVERY aspect of getting to photograph a wedding. The most important day of these two people's life...little moments of their special day frozen in time for the rest of their lives! I could go on and on and on...
But you came here for pictures right? So here's the first set...there's so many to choose from, and so many different moments that I want to share...I just don't have enough room to put them all in one post...so be looking for the second set later on!

Bridgette & Brad are Married!!

That's right!  First wedding of the Summer is out of the way!  It was entirely too much fun, and pretty much sealed the deal for me as proving this is exactly what I want to do.  It was a little scary, being the first one and all, but after a while I felt at ease and right at home.  Not to mention the tremendous comfort it was knowing that if I missed something, Aric would be there to get it instead.  We had such a blast, and were sooo exhausted by the end of the night that we only had energy for one dance at the reception.  Haha...anyway, congratulations Bridgette & Brad!!!  Here's a little teaser for now, we'll be working non-stop the rest of the week tryin' to get the rest edited!  : )

(P.S. In case you didn't already know...I'm the luckiest girl alive, and don't tell anyone I know this, but I'm kind of spoiled rotten... : ) I've been talking about wanting a point and shoot for the past couple weeks, just for random outings with friends or the spur of the moment picture of me & Aric just for fun... So for my birthday Aric got me a point and shoot camera!!!!  I feel so much more normal now!!  And Aric is rethinking his strategy on getting me one because every 5 seconds I'm like..."let's take a picture!!" :)  Anyway...here's a quick snap of us hangin' out at the reception with my new birthday present!!  Aren't we cute?!)
